Southwest Burgers
An inexpensive and more nutritious variation of an old North American favorite. I like mine on a grilled roll with a dollop of salsa and a paper-thin slice of red onion.

Instructions
Make fresh bread crumbs with the bread slice by processing briefly in a food processor, blender, or food chopper.
In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, turkey, egg white, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, oregano and pepper.
Mix well. You’ll find using your hands is the easiest.
Cover and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.
Form into 4 patties.
Preheat the barbecue to a medium flame.
Arrange the patties on the grill and barbecue for 8–10 minutes per side, or until the center is no longer pink.
Serve immediately on grilled hamburger buns, with assorted condiments on the side.
