Famous Fabulous Fowl Fajitas From Joe

Joe sent in a bunch of recipes, this is one of the easiest and straightforward.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts skinless and boneless
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh-ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 package flour tortilla shells

Instructions

  • Slice the chicken into 3⁄4-inch strips.
  • In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Add the chicken strips, turning to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours.
  • On a preheated barbecue grill, cook the strips, turning often over a high flame, for 10 minutes or until done
  • Or in a large frying pan, lightly greased with olive oil, sauté the chicken strips, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Heat the tortilla shells individually in a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side.
  • Or heat individually on a plate in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
  • Serve the hot tortilla shells immediately with a bit of the cooked chicken.
  • Allow the guys to fill their own fajitas with a bit of the following condiments, set out in individual bowls.
