Chinese Halibut Broil
A little soy sauce is all it takes to turn a simple broiled fish dish into something with an exotic, Asian flavor. This broiled dish is great served with a stir-fried vegetable medley and white rice.

Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 pounds halibut fillets skinless
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon water
- paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler, and lightly butter a shallow 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Cut the fish into equal portion sizes.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, onion flakes and water.
- Rub mixture into both sides of the fish.
- Place the fish in the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle with the paprika.
- Broil 2-inches from the heat for 6 minutes, or until the fish is fully cooked; turning once.
- Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
